I took a hand gun course from overwatch defense recently. Nick and Rob were super knowledgeable and professional, but also were really relaxed and made it fun. It wasn’t stressful at all. Not only did I learn how to shoot more effectively with my gun. I also got to shoot their personal guns as well. Even if I didn’t have my own gun to shoot, they had ones I could have used and they provided ammo as well. It was a badass time and I’ll definitely be doing it again soon.

I recently completed an advanced carbine class with Nick and Rob, and it was hands-down one of the most valuable training experiences I’ve had. These guys are the real deal—professional, knowledgeable, and completely dialed in to what matters in real-world situations. Safety was the number one priority. We covered room clearing techniques, reloading under pressure, and engaging targets while physically exhausted. Every drill was designed to push us outside our comfort zones while reinforcing solid fundamentals….

Nick and his team are the most knowledgeable, professional, and bad-ass operators to learn from! I brought my own guns from home and got to learn how to shoot them in a wide variety of experience-based drills. Nick fixed my right hand/left eye dominant aim in 30 seconds!! The attention to detail is second to none and the experience gained by training with Nick and his team are invaluable. I recommend this course for beginners to advanced shooters!

I have taken four Overwatch classes and have learned so much that I have recommended them to my friends, coworkers, and neighbors! The classes are taught by very experienced instructors who possess years of both professional experience as well was teaching experience, and the pace is adaptable for different level learners. Overwatch further maintains the highest safety standards while also keeping the classes fun and entertaining while we’re l learning hands-on practical skills….

To anyone looking for top tier weapons handling/defense training in So Cal, you would be hard pressed to find a better outfit that Overwatch. Nick and Rob (both military background instructors) are detail oriented with an emphasis on safety and remain professional while making concepts digestible and easy to comprehend for the common man. Will definitely use in the future again.
